 Karen Scott Greene was born in Hollywood, Florida. She holds an
undergraduate degree in Human Resources from St. Thomas University, as
well as a Masters in City Planning from Georgia Institute of
Technology. She received her law degree from St. Thomas University in
Miami, Florida. Karen has been a member of the Georgia Bar
since 1994. During her years of practice she has worked for DeKalb
County, Georgia as an Assistant County Attorney handling primarily
zoning and land use cases. Karen also has worked at Clark Atlanta
University at the Center for Studies in Public Policy as the Assistant
Director for Environmental Programs. Karen now practices
as a solo attorney in Lawrenceville, Georgia in the areas of
bankruptcy, real estate, and misdemeanor criminal matters. Her
bankruptcy practice is limited solely to debtor representation in
chapter 7 and 13 cases which are filed in the Northern and Middle
District Court of Georgia. Karen is married with three sons. She is also an active member of Hope and Life Fellowship Church in Snellville, Georgia.
